A newly released batch of emails reveal Hillary Clinton’s top State Department aides did favors for Clinton Foundation bigwigs.

Doug Band, a former advisor to the Clinton Foundation who co-founded Teneo Holdings — a secretive company that has enriched Clinton aides — pressured top State Department aides into securing a job for an unnamed individual in 2009, according to emails obtained by Judicial Watch.

“Important to take care of [redacted],” Band said in an email to then-State Department aides Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills, with the subject line: “A favor. . .”

“We have him on our radar,” Abedin responded. “Personnel has been sending him options.”

While working at the State Department, Abedin received special permission from Clinton to work for Teneo. Critics have pointed out the arrangement seems to be part of a scheme to use the State Department to advance the firm’s interests.

Emails show Band also pressured Abedin into setting up a meeting between a U.S. ambassador to Lebanon and a Clinton Foundation donor.

“We need Gilbert Chagoury to speak to the substance person re lebanon. As you know, he’s key guy there and to us and is loved in lebanon. Very imp[.]”

“Its jeff feltman,” Abedin responded. “I’m sure he knows him Ill talk to jeff.”

“Better if you call him,” Band wrote back. “Now preferrable [sic]. This is very important. He’s awake I’m sure[.]”

Chagoury is a Lebanese businessman and a Clinton Foundation donor who has contributed between $1 million and $5 million to the Clintons’ enterprise. In 2000, he was convicted of money laundering in Switzerland for his role in a criminal organization that stole billions of dollars from Nigeria.

The emails are the product of an ongoing lawsuit the Judicial Watch is waging against the State Department to publicly release copies of Clinton’s correspondence from a private, insecure server she illegally used during her tenure as secretary of State.
