In front of the Supreme Court Wednesday, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer joined pro-choice protesters on the day justices debated the constitutionality of a Louisiana pro-abortion legislation titled “Louisiana Unsafe Abortion Protection Act.”
During his speech, Schumer made threatening remarks aimed at Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh.
“I want to tell you Neil Gorusch, and you Brett Kavanaugh, you have unleashed a whirlwind, and you will pay the price,” Schumer said. “You won’t know what hit you, if you go forward with these awful decisions.”

Similar legislation was upheld in Texas which requires doctors performing abortion to have “admitting privileges” at a nearby hospital. Admitting privileges allows a doctor, by virtue of membership, to admit patients to a nearby hospital. This would essentially make abortion clinics a branch of larger hospitals.
In 2016, the Supreme Court took up a similar case titled Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt. Justice Anthony Kennedy sided with the four liberal Justices in the case which upheld the law in favor of the pro-abortion law.
In the Louisiana case, known as June Medical Services LLC v. Russo, it appears Chief Justice John Roberts, and potentially Kavanaugh, will be the deciding vote.
